Cancer Diary - Part 16

My appointment was at 3pm to see Mr Romics. I was there too early as usual so I got a coffee before checking into the clinic. I have to admit to being pretty nervous. I mean what if they find another thing and I end up getting another biopsy and going through the same wringer as I went through this time last year. I saw a female Dr whose name I immediately forgot. She told me that the mammogram was clear and she had no concerns. She asked how the boob was and I confirmed it was fine and the scar was barely noticeable. Then it was off with the shirt, a bit of a robust examination then dressed and back out the door in 10 minutes flat. She also complimented me on my weight loss. I made an appointment for next year and I’m all fine.
