dyllanneDay 12 post op. The stristrips came off the armpit wound and today was the first day that I took zero pain killers. Any pain was just a twinge or a sting where the wounds intersected clothing and passed really quickly. So I still have a yellow bruised boob and the steristrips are still in place on that. The bruise on my left hand has gone, but there's still one on my right arm.
My followup appointment was also moved form the 27th to the 25th which is a real problem as I have a family funeral that day. After a chat with the consultant's secretary I have to go in at 845 on the 25th and I'll get seen first and then I'll have plenty time to get to the funeral afterwards. The consultant says he wants to see me for continuity rather than any other more sinister reason (I Hope).
